It has been an interesting week here on "the rock".  We had a "snow day" last Wednesday (49 cm), but it was almost all gone by Sunday.  Yesterday saw another 20 cm, which is almost gone today.  In Newfoundland, spring is often just a date on the calender.

As well, MRI sent the following info:
"As from 3 May 2016 MRI will start a regular service  on Wednesdays, from 1800 to 1900 UTC, from 2000 to 2100 UTC, from 2200 to 2300 UTC on 7690 kHz USB mode  (alternative frequencies: 7700 and 7790 kHz) with a power of 100 watts. Additional broadcasts may also be aired during week-end."
