This past Tuesday saw yet another storm here and a "snow day" holiday (the brutal winter continues).  I took the day to update my list of stations heard/verified.  This was the first time that I had updated this list since December, 2012, so it was a big job.

Here are the results:
European SW free stations:    heard:  258       verified (QSL): 193
European MW free stations:   heard:   68       verified (QSL):   32
Total European free stations:   heard: 312       verified (QSL): 216

The SW and MW do not add up to the total, because I have heard many stations on both SW and MW.  As well, I have not included known relays or novelty shows in this total.  And stations which have changed their name, or use more than one name, have only been counted once.  Consequently, I am confident that these totals represent actual separate stations, and illustrates the incredible depth and diversity of the greatest free radio community on earth!
