I cleaned all my antenna connections yesterday, which seemed to reduce the background noise level quite a bit, particularly on mw and 76 m.  Conditions were also fairly good, at least for the first few hours.

3904,4 . . 2015 . Radio Alice, “I Only Want to be With You”, “Bad Case of loving You”, ID, greeting to chatters, c/d 2022, 34342

3905,0 . . 2036 . U-Boat 66 Radio, weak music and talk fading in and out, caught a few bars of  “Broken Wings” and an ID just before c/d at 2047, 24331

6449,0 . . 2050 . Studio 52, Madonna “Like a Prayer”, ID, 23441, ute QRM which got worse as the night went on

1647,0 . . 2109 . Radio Calipso, faded in weakly for a couple of Dutch songs and an instrumental with lots of harmonicas, heard voice break but just too weak to copy, ID via Iann’s chat, 24431, heard again at 0027 at similar level

4026,0 . . 2145 . Laser Hot Hits, playing oldies, song by Sullivan, ID, song by Walker Brothers, good signal, 35442

6210,0 . . 0102 . Radio Waves Int. (tent), “Horse With No Name”, announcer with French accent, ID via Iann’s chat

1611,0 . . 0019 . Radio Barones, Baro had a good signal, but was too close to much stronger US station on 1610.  Using usb and narrow filter, I caught one slow song at 0019 while 1610 had a long voice break, but there was no hope when 1610 played music.  ID via Iann’s chat

3099,0 . . 0142 . UNID, very weak music, hard rock, no details and faded after 5 minutes (a Ukrainian listener in chat said this was a Ukrainian pirate with a music show).  I could detect the carrier for almost another hour (slowly drifting down close to 3098), but no more audio heard.
